#1: Dress Up Corner
Visitors will get to dress up in Traditional Peranakan Costumes and have their photos taken in them.

#2: Eye Spy!
Visitors get to flip open covers and take a peek at the Peranakan's household handling items. The only downside to this interactive is that some of handling items are placed too high and thus some of the visitors are not able to look at these items without the help of their parents or the volunteers.

#3: Home Sweet Home
A model of the Peranakan House is displayed at this section. Visitors can also make use of the paper templates provided to create their own paper Peranakan furniture.

#4: What makes Scents?
At this section, visitors get to pull open drawers and smell the spices used in Peranakan Cuisines.

#5: Piece-by-Piece
Each visitor is entitled to a piece of a puzzle which they will have to paste on the giant puzzle wall.

#6: Tile Style
Visitors can colour the templates available and paste their works along the 'corridors' of the room.

#7: Leave your Mark!
Visitors can use the coloured paper provided to draw a picture or write a note and insert it into one of the folders on this wall.

#8: Other Interactives
Besides the various interactives listed above, the room is also equipped with children storybooks and jigsaw puzzles that children can try their hands on. Chalkboards are also available for visitors to unleash their creativity and make some drawings on it.

As part of the Children's Season 2011, 5 children's workshops were organised at the Peranakan Museum. Admission to all 5 workshops are chargeable.

Held over the weekends of 18 June and 19 June 2011, the Weekend Festival provides free admission to all visitors. A range of activities were organised both inside and outside of the museum.
